I took all of these photos between the age of fifteen and eighteen and they all reflect my complete lack of self-distance at the time, which is precious to me since it is now lost. I can never take photos like this ever again since it requires takin

I took all of these photos between the age of fifteen and eighteen and they all reflect my complete lack of self-distance at the time, which is precious to me since it is now lost. I can never take photos like this ever again since it requires taking yourself entirely seriously in a way I think is exclusive to the teenage years.
The selection of photos from this time is a mixture of random everyday snapshots and carefully staged conceptual photos. In hindsight, I think there is something so fantastic with the combination of a snapshot of my little sister dressed as a mime for a masquerade, and my self-portraits in the mirror.
